Center of Financial Technologies: Stable Growth of the Customer Base and Key Business Indicators
Center of Financial Technologies has summed up the results of 2011. The company’s total revenue in all business directions has made 8.9 billion rubles. The growth of this indicator as compared to the previous year has made 65%. The number of employees has increased by 30% as compared to 2010 and reached 1,820 employees. The company has opened two new offices in Krasnoyarsk and Khabarovsk. The Company Business Weekly awarded CFT the “Company of the Year 2011” prize in the category “For stable and dynamic development”.
In 2011 the company’s software portfolio includes 15 contracts with new customers, among them: Bank Saint-Petersburg, My Bank, Baltic Development Bank, Eurocommerce CB, Pervobank JSC, NOMOS-Regiobank, Pushkino Bank, Kapitalbank, Agroinvestment Commercial Bank, BaikalBank, Zalkar Bank (Kyrgyzstan), BC «Comerţbank» S.A. (Moldova), Savings Pension Fund "Grantum" non-bank organization (Kazakhstan). In all, 394 agreements on acquisition of licenses for CFT bank products by credit organizations have been signed during the reporting year.
In 2011 CFT has implemented a range of large-scale projects on bank business centralization on the basis of the CFT-Bank (Platform 1) information complex. In particular, at MTS-Bank (MBRD), which is among the 30 biggest Russian banks, the head office and 16 branches have been transferred to the centralized operation scheme. At Otkritie Bank, the head office and 15 branches have been joined. At Bank Rossiya, the CFT-Bank system has joined the Bank’s head office in Saint-Petersburg with the Moscow and the Central branches. At MDM Bank, CFT-Bank and CFT-Retail Bank (Platform 1) has joined all branches of the Siberian and Urals territorial banks and Yug territorial bank. Also, the pilot project on installation of CFT-Testing Machine software complex for automation of regress testing of CFT-Bank and CFT-Retail Bank information systems has been implemented at MDM Bank.
At Bank Saint-Petersburg, one of Russia’s biggest federal banks, the first stage of the large-scale integration project on installation of CFT-Bank (Platform 1) in the bank IT infrastructure has been successfully completed. Within the project framework, 860 bank employees of various specialist areas have been trained: IT specialists, database administrators, technologists; bank managers have learnt basic skills of the system operation.
Among the joint projects with CFT’s long-time partners is installation of a complex of Applications for support of cash settlement business processes at Gazprombank, and installation of CFT-Electronic Archive at Vesta Bank. At the AHML (Agency for Housing Mortgage Lending), the Unified Settlement Center (USC) has been created and launched on the CFT Platform; and now the USC performs automated acceptance of payments received from AHML partners, as well as their centralized breakdown, verification and processing.
Projects of installation of CFT-Bank information complex have been implemented at the banks of CIS countries: at Zalkar Bank OJSC (Kyrgyzstan), Agroinvestbank OJSC (Dushanbe), FinComBank S.A. (Moldova).
The scope of services rendered by the CFT Training Center has increased substantially. In 2011, over 1,800 specialists of the Company’s partner banks have been trained at CFT.
In 2011 CFT Group processing services have shown new impressive results. As of December 31, 2011 over 56 million cards of various types have been serviced using processing of the Golden Crown payment service system (as compared to 2010 the increase has made 75%). The total of 1 billion transactions have been processed (as compared to 2010 the increase has made 55%).
Golden Crown continues active development of partnership with major players in the plastic card market. Thus, in 2011 Golden Crown signed an agreement with the PRC biggest payment system – UnionPay, which resulted in the start of issue of co-brand Golden Crown – UnionPay cards.
Golden Crown – Money Transfers service shows high development dynamics. Over 9 million clients have used the service in the reporting year. 17.69 million transactions to the amount of over $ 8.7 billion have been performed. During the year partnership agreements have been signed with 112 banks in Russia and the CIS. The number of the System sales offices in Russia and the CIS has reached 30,000.
In 2011 the turnover of payments accepted in favor of the service providers of the National Gorod System, universal billing platform rendering the whole range of services on public payments collection and processing, has grown by 34% as compared to the previous year. During the year 150 new banks have joined the System and the total chain of payment collection offices has increased three times and now it comprises over 30,000 offices in 79 regions of Russia. Payments for 24,000 services of various providers are collected using the Gorod System technology.
In 2011 the turnover on information and payment transactions using Internet banking and mobile banking services performed by legal and natural persons that are Faktura.ru partner banks exceeded 140 million transactions. The increase as compared with 2010 results made 35%. At the end of 2011 the total number of Faktura.ru partner banks reached 274.
Over the reporting period 18 new banks have started using CardStandard Processing Center services; the number of cards issued by partner banks has increased 2.3 times. One of the 2011 events of greatest strategic importance for CardStandard PC was the granting of Payment Center Non-Bank Settlement and Credit Authority (NSCA) a status of a Principal Member and Sponsor of Visa and MasterCard payment systems.
